The Slow Pour
Single-origin filter, hand-poured.
Our daily rotating bean, brewed by hand in a chemex. Best taken without milk, slowly, near a window.
Specialty coffee, homemade pastries, and a corner table that’s yours for as long as you need. We open early, we make everything ourselves, and we know your usual after the second visit.
We started Birch & Bean because we missed the kind of coffee shop where the barista remembers your name and the pastries are actually made on the premises. Six years in, we still bake every morning at five, still pour every shot ourselves, and still believe slowness is a kindness.
The beans rotate every three weeks. The pastries change with the season. The playlist is the only thing that’s consistent — and even that is questionable on Tuesdays.
We’re open six days a week (yes, we close Mondays — the sourdough deserves a day off). Quiet hours are between 7 and 9, best for laptops and slow conversations.
