Free · 30 minutes · Video call

Everyone's telling you to use AI.Nobody's shown you what to build.Let's start there.

Thirty minutes, free, no pitch. You tell me about your work, or about the idea you keep not starting. I'll map the three things AI could realistically do for you, ranked by what's actually worth your time, and send it to you in writing.

01 — Sound familiar?

Most people who book this can't name what they need yet.

That's the point. You don't have to arrive with a plan or know the right words. If any of these is you, the conversation will be worth your time:

  • You have an idea you keep not starting, because you can't code and don't know who to ask.
  • Work keeps telling you to use AI, and you've no idea what that means beyond typing into a chatbot.
  • Something eats hours of your week that a computer should obviously be doing by now.
  • You use ChatGPT or Claude a bit, and you suspect you're getting about 5% out of it.
  • You've watched a lot of videos about AI and still don't know what to do on Monday morning.

You don't need to know what you don't know. Working that out is the job.

02 — What you walk away with

A written map, whether or not we ever work together.

Three options, ranked

Within two days you get a one-pager: the three most useful things AI could do for your work or your idea, in plain language, ordered by what I'd do first.

A first step you can take alone

The smallest useful version of the best idea, written so you could go and do it this week without me. Plenty of people do exactly that.

An honest answer

If AI isn't the answer for you right now, I'll tell you. Sometimes the real fix is a spreadsheet, a phone call, or hiring someone. I'd rather say so than sell you a project.

03 — Setting expectations

What this isn't.

  • Not a sales call with a deck at the end.
  • Not a workshop, a course, or a webinar.
  • Not software I'm reselling you.
  • Not an AI strategy document nobody reads.

It's a conversation with someone who builds these things, about what you'd actually use. If it turns into work together, good. If it doesn't, you still keep the map.

04 — Built this way

Things that exist now because someone decided to start.

A mix of things built with people and things built for them. Every one of them began as someone saying “I’ve had this idea for ages but I wouldn’t know where to start.”

Built with Jack

recdig

Crate digging, digitally. Pick a genre, a style, a year, listen, then skip or save. When something sticks, it tells you which shop near you has a copy on the shelf.

Built together

Sparkboard

Turns the travel posts you save and forget into pins on one map. Nearby pins cluster into regions, and a region becomes a real trip with the stops in order. iPhone app and web.

Built together

Protokol

Writes the pharmaceutical qualification paperwork nobody wants to write. IQ, OQ, PQ and the rest, generated from your own specs and audit-ready, instead of starting every one from a blank page.

Built together

Mastro

Quoting, invoicing and the WhatsApp thread in one place for Swiss trade businesses. Fixed-price visual quotes in minutes instead of evenings, and a paper trail when the job changes.

Built by me

This site

Multilingual, fast, and wired into its own lead pipeline. Built the way I’d build with you, which is why you can click around the whole thing instead of looking at a screenshot.

A few others I can show you on a call. Yours doesn’t need to be clever. It needs to be yours.

05 — How it works

Three steps. No call to book a call.

01

Tell me a bit

The form below takes two minutes. Rough is fine. "I don't know, something with admin" is a real answer and I've heard it a lot.

02

We talk for 30 minutes

A video call, evenings and weekends included. If you're in Basel and would rather do it over coffee, say so and we'll sort it. You don't need to prepare anything.

03

You get the map

Written up and in your inbox within two days. Yours to keep, act on, or ignore.

06 — Book it

Thirty minutes. Free. No pitch at the end.

Fill this in and I'll come back to you within a day with a couple of times. I only do a few of these a week, so if this week is full I'll offer you the next one. If you'd rather just email me, that works too.
